Service Provider Database
The searchable database is one of our main features and is available to timberland owners through the Join Section. The database contains information from the different service providers and is used to determine which providers best match your particular needs. After entering some basic information about your timberland, you can select to search for planters, loggers/buyers, foresters or mills. You will also be able to select a login name and password to quickly access your information in the future through the Member Section.
Forestry Events Database
Located in the Tools Section, you can search for forestry events in your area. Just enter your zip code and leave the rest to us. These events may be held by forest product companies, landowner associations, state forestry services, or college programs.
Seedling Database
Searchable database of seedlings and seedling providers accessible from the Tools Section.
TimberQuote Connection (Coming Soon)
This is the ultimate way to connect you with the right buyer. If you have harvestable timber and are just waiting for a market peak to sell, you should register for this feature. This allows timber buyers to find your timber information during a search. But don't be alarmed; your personal information will be protected. The only information available to a potential buyer is the amount of acreage, type of timber and zip code of the tract location. If the buyer is interested, a cruise request will be emailed to you. You can accept or decline the inquiry. By accepting, you agree to release your contact information to the potential buyer and allow the buyer to cruise your timber and make an offer. Whatever happens next is up to you.
Explore our site to get the information you need to better understand your options with timber planting, management, harvesting and selling. When you are ready to find a service provider, fill out the basic information in the Join Section and begin your search. After joining, you can go straight to the Member Section for access to TimberQuote services by using your login name and password. We hope you enjoy our free services and let others know about TimberQuote.com!
