Service Provider Database
The searchable database is one of our main features and is available when you join as a TimberQuote member. For forestry professionals there is no better way to advertise your services and attract the customers you desire. Planters, loggers/buyers, foresters and mills or woodyards enter their information into the database such as whom to contact, phone number, service area, tract size preference, and more. When anyone needing a particular service uses the database, their needs are compared with the database to find the service providers that match the request. By using a "smart" database, the searcher gets the names of TimberQuote members that best match their needs and who performs the desired service in their area. If you specify that you only want to get requests from customers with at least 30 acres located within 100 miles of your business base, then you will not be notified of requests further than 100 miles away or less than 30 acres in size. The database does all the screening for you based on the preferences you provide! TimberQuote also gives the ability to join with multiple services. If you are a forester who also does planting, then join as both! You will be able to select a login name and password to quickly access your information in the future through the Member Section. Members will have their own page where they can update/change profile information and conduct searches for events, seedlings, other service providers, or for harvestable timber through our special "TimberQuote Connection" feature!
TimberQuote Connection (Coming Soon)
This is the ultimate way to locate harvestable timber when demand is high. TimberQuote provides a search tool that allows you to search for harvestable timber within a certain location you select. If the search returns any results from our database of participating timberland owners, you can submit a cruise request for any of the tracts. If the timberland owner agrees to let you cruise the tract, then TimberQuote will calculate the small connection fee based on tract size. If you accept the fee, then TimberQuote will place you in contact with the prospective timberland owner. Whatever happens next is up to you. Unlike a substantial "finders fee", you can expect to pay a comparatively small amount per connection made. All transaction activity can be monitored from your member section and the entire process is automated. A list of tracts that you have inquired about or agreed to cruise will be kept in your member section for as long as you're a member. How's that for a service that can't be found anywhere else!
Forestry Events Database
Located in the Tools Section, you can search for forestry events in your area. Just enter your zip code and leave the rest to us. These events may be held by forest product companies, landowner associations, state forestry services, or college programs.

Searchable database of seedlings and seedling providers accessible from the Tools Section.
